Hours: Full time (35 hours per week) + presence at evening and other events, occasional international travel

To lead a team of fundraisers focused on generating major gift income (average £10K – £3M gifts) for Evelina London. This position will see our successful candidate utilise their significant fundraising experience and outstanding leadership abilities to drive income of six and seven figure gifts that will enable Evelina London to invest in dynamic research and clinical care that will improve the lives of patients within the hospitals, as well as society at large, today and for future generations.
Principal Philanthropy Manager

Salary: £48,000 – £53,000 per year
I CAN is looking for an exceptional Philanthropy Manager to support our fundraising team. Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy and a key part of the team, the new Philanthropy Manager will develop and manage a portfolio of donors, significantly improving our performance in building long term engaging relationships and raising funds.
Head of Philanthropy
Location: Central London
Salary: Circa £50-£55,000 plus benefits and flexible working
A team player with significant experience in securing significant income from major donors and developing long term relationships. Proven experience in developing and implementing effective strategies, motivating teams, managing targets and budgets. You will be able to develop and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, negotiate effectively and able to problem solve and think strategically, in addition to a good understanding of the fundraising regulatory environment.
Trusts and Foundations Manager
Location: London, N1
Salary: £30,000-£50,000 per annum, plus 6% contributory pension scheme
The Centre maintains an annual revenue income of over £2 million per year, excluding tendered contracts, with a strategic emphasis on raising income from Statutory Funders, Trusts and Foundations whilst developing new income from Corporates, Major Donors and Community Fundraising. Income from Trusts and Foundations and Individuals accounts for 25-30% of the Centre’s annual revenue income. The focus of this post is to maintain and grow the Trusts and Foundations and Major Donor income level. The post-holder also will be involved in supporting some areas of fundraising from Corporates, Statutory and Community Fundraising.
Major Gifts Manager

Salary: £36,820 – £41,000 per annum
This is a crucial role in our newly merged and re-structured Philanthropy team, which includes major donors, trusts and special events. An externally focussed, relationship manager role, the postholder will be responsible for cultivating, engaging and stewarding high level relationships and building their own portfolio of donors.
The postholder will work closely with the Prospect Research and Insight Manager to maximise all opportunities and ensure a robust prospect pipeline.
Assistant Director, Philanthropy

Salary: £59,900 – £65,000 per annum
This is an exceptional role in a charity which represents the very best of the voluntary sector. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Partnerships, the Assistant Director of Philanthropy will be responsible for 11 staff in the newly formed Philanthropy team; raising money from major donors, trusts and foundations, and special events. We have an ambitious target of c.£7m with a clear strategy to generate more funds for our ground-breaking research and support people with breast cancer.
Director of Development (Maternity Cover)

Salary: £37,000-£40,000 (and travel covered)
The Cares Family is seeking a Director of Development (Maternity Cover), to drive and adapt our fundraising strategy, to lead our Development team across our national group of charities, and to raise at least £300,000 of new income between the end of 2019 and March 2021.
In this role at the heart of our senior leadership team, you will work closely with our Founder/CEO, Managing Director and Director of Programmes to set and drive The Cares Family’s fundraising strategy and potential, and to help execute our broader strategic priorities. You will line manage our national Head of Development as well as two of our Development Coordinators. And you will inspire our Development team of seven across five city locations to drive community fundraising at a local level.
