MA Philanthropic Studies at the University of Kent: Realise your fundraising potential
An innovative, part time distance-learning course that builds on the Centre for Philanthropy’s expertise in fundraising and philanthropy. This advanced level course is aimed at those seeking to pursue a career in the fundraising and philanthropy sector, and professionals seeking an opportunity to reflect on their practice.
Students can study for a Postgraduate Certificate (£1,510), a Postgraduate Diploma (£3,100) or a full MA(£4,640). There is also the opportunity to study any one module for £515. Select from modules including ‘The Fundamentals of Philanthropy’, ‘Art & Science of Fundraising’ and ‘Advising Donors’.
Art & Science of Fundraising Module How do you build donor loyalty? How does fundraising vary across different types of organisation? How do you evaluate your own fundraising strategy? What is crucial to making an appropriate ‘Ask’? This module will develop the techniques, knowledge and attributes required by professionals working in the field of fundraising and philanthropy.
